Shoreline Frontrunners of Long Beach is a gay and lesbian oriented running and walking club. Just one of the many International Front Runners clubs established throughout the world, Shoreline Frontrunners formed in 1984 as a 'sister' club to the L.A. If you'd like to volunteer at the LA Frontrunners water station tomorrow, they would welcome the help (even though the registration site says they are full).

Location: Mile 7 Sunset Blvd @ Vendome (near Silver Lake Blvd)
When: Sunday, March 19
Time: 5:00 am to approximately 11:30 am
Details: Our tasks include set up, providing water to the runners and walkers, and clean up-which starts around 10:00 am. The club provides refreshments, coffee, and baked goods. Many of us are able to leave by 11:00 am to make our way to the post-race party (details to come).

Parking is difficult even on a normal day in that area. Try Silver Lake Blvd between 101 and Sunset, or as far north as Micheltorena. It's 1 mile from the Silver Lake Rec Center so consider that option, too.

We always have lots of fun and your participation is a great way to support your fellow walkers, friends, and runners, while providing visibility to the community for LA Frontrunners.
